Food is very good. Had crepes filled with strawberries and cream on top. Very good. Friendly, down to earth staff.

Lovely little breakfast place. Highly recommend the steak and eggs. I bit of a wait on a Saturday morning. We were a bit hungry so the 45 minute wait was a struggle but it was worth it.

We didn’t go all out on breakfast so I’ll have to update when I order something serious. The eggs “over easy” could have been cooked a bit longer as the yolk hadn’t even started to gel up. One waitress was great, the other was grumpy and kind of rushed us even though there were open tables. Didn’t seem like they knew who had what table because they both came by to take our order. The muffin was solid though. Don’t order iced coffee though it was terrible.

My families favorite breakfast spot. Staff is always really friendly and the food is really great! Waitress went above and beyond to make my daughters French toast special for her birthday today which made my daughter so beyond happy and was the best way to start her day!

You’ll always have great food if you eat here! The ladies are always nice and the atmosphere is always good. I had the veggie omelet with hollandaise sauce and their own ho.emafe honey wheat toast.

Recommended to me by my best bro, so we met up to have breakfast. As someone with gluten intolerance, I usually have a plan whenever visiting these types of down home diners: eggs, bacon, home fries, just warn the server ahead of time. Instead, after informing the server of my restrictions, I received the best news I could ever hear in a down home diner: our server also had gluten intolerance, and the cooks already knew how to cook for her; they had gluten-free English muffins, and their baker also makes GF muffins (check availability.) This opened up all the Eggs Benedict options, my one weakness. The shaved steak Benedict caught my eye. And I was not disappointed.

Excellent service, amazing food, perfect proportions and such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! We were greeted when we walked in and the staff made sure to say thank you and goodbye when we left! In fact, even staff that did not wait on us greeted us in some way. 10 out of 10 for sure!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE AT HEN HOUSE CAFE!
