This was my 2nd time coming to Louie’s on the Avenue. The first time I had the pork chops, which I never order pork chops when I’m out. That was beyond delicious! Tonight I had the Tavern Burger with Cheddar cheese. That had to of been one of the best burgers I have had. I will be back here soon.

My husband and I went for dinner last night. He had the open steak sandwich and I had fish. For appetizers he had chicken tenders with sesame seed and I had the mussels in a garlic white wine sauce. Everything was delicious. The sauce on my mussels was so tasty I found myself eating the leftover sauce with a spoon. The steak was cooked to protection and came with mashed potatoes. My branzino fish came with rice. The sauce with light yet not overwhelming so you could taste the fish. The service was great the people friendly and we ate outside which was so nice. There are several trees and flowers around the deck. Very relaxing atmosphere we will definitely visit again.

We went on Sunday 5:30with a reservation. Seated immediately. It’s an old house turned restaurant. Several rooms so even filled to capacity it will be easy to hear conversations at the table. Menu and beverage menu were almost immediately brought to table. Waiter came to introduce specials. Everything was delicious. Have been several times and always a delicious meal!!!!

All of the staff are phenomenal, Stephanie, Paul, Drew always make you feel like you’re at home. Amazing food, exectuvie chef always has great specials. Drinks are on point, we come here all the time

Food and service is excellent. The only complaint I have is how uncomfortable the seats are. I’ve been here three times at three different tables and all the seats had me shifting uncomfortably by the time my meal arrived.
