Dined today at Yellow hammer for the first time absolutely loved it! 10/10 will try again! The staff were so helpful and polite. They answered every question we had since we had not dined before. The fried chicken and cornbread dressing were so delicious! Check them out!!

Nice Place hidden in Billingsley! Resturant has a 96 health Code rating, very clean establishment. I had a 3 wing/2 sides dinner about $15 after tax. Mac and cheese and candied yams are always fresh.

Oh the audacity. This place was incredible but they had no business making that meatloaf taste so good. The gall to make that corn crisp AND creamy, those mashed potatoes whipped to perfection. They even made the cornbread muffin moist and the sweet tea like some proper Alabama sweet tea. They were out of most of the desserts but it’s probably because they were as good as the peach cobbler I got. It was all perfect and the portions were generous. With all my food dessert and tip it came out to about $20 and was worth every penny.

i went here for lunch and got a togo order. I ordered the cheese burger and wing combo.. the burger was okay it had 2 pieces of cheese, lettuce and tomato on it. my wing flavor was mild and it was extra spicy. I ordered a patty melt and peach cobbler. The patty melt was good, coulda used more seasoning and the fries were plain need seasoning on them though and the peach cobbler coulda had more crust. the customer service was good and the environment is warming. they cook everything to order. I would go again but i would get something different

First time here recommended by a friend who had done a DoorDash order from here and heard good. Not only were they friendly but service was good and food was delicious. They had a large group for a bday party so we had to wait a but to order but it moved steadily and being our first time there (and 2 others in front of us the same) we had a lot of questions about the menu etc..we probably overwhelmed them as they were busy but they were very helpful. Definitely going back!! just fyi Saturday menu is a bit different as they don’t do the meat+ 1-3 and they don’t offer as many options. Can’t wait to go back and try some more good cookin!! Btw the cupcakes (keylime) are the bomb!!

Yesterday, I ordered a 12-piece chicken dinner with 2 sides from Yellowhammer Bistro. They told me that they don’t normally sell their chicken like this but they went out of their way to accommodate me. That was the best-fried chicken that I have ever eaten. It was freshly cooked to order, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. The sides (mashed potatoes, gravy, and fried okra) were also delicious. I also got some of their in-house cupcakes a mixture of red velvet, key lime, and strawberry they were Awesome! The staff went over and beyond and were the best. That fried chicken is outstanding!!!!! The price can’t be beaten either for what you get. Yellowhammer Bistro is #1, I absolutely love this place! They are the chicken haven LOL.

I enjoyed my experience other than when we got there they said they only had dark meat baked chicken. So we had no choice but we said no gravy and they put gravy. Sent it back and got told they didn’t have anymore dark meat chicken and brought a really small leg and wing.
