I had not visited this place in nearly 20 years. My girlfriend’s daughter was celebrating a 21st birthday and I went with them. Definitely has changed! They had a live band early on and transitioned to a DJ later. The place was easily 90% people in their 20s, which is definitely different from the last time I was there LOL. As the night wore on, the place became VERY crowded so if you are into something more laid back, this may not be for you. Especially weekends.

Last night my friend was assaulted by security for stepping on the stage reserved for girls (he was unfamiliar with this rule). With no warning he was tackled by multiple security guards and pinned to the floor for no reason. I was also grabbed up for telling them to get off him. Security is on an absolute power trip at this establishment, and I think a lawsuit is in their future. If it were me, you’d be hearing from my attorney. This security here is a joke. And that 5 foot 9 little man who likes to put his hands on people should be looking for a new job.

Do not ever visit this establishment. I was physically assaulted and grabbed by the throat by security and dragged out of the bar for dancing with my friends. I did nothing to anyone and I was all of the sudden grabbed and dragged out of the bar. I am traumatized by this interaction and left the bar sobbing when I have never had an experience like this in my life. Security told me as they were carrying me out that they could choke me out until I passed out when the entire time I was crying while I was being dragged out and not resisting being told to leave. Additionally, my friends were assaulted and dragged out by their necks as well when they tried to explain that I did not do anything.

This venue has UNPREPARED SECURITY. My friends were choked, assaulted and kicked out of the bar because the security confused one of us with someone that crossed the dance stage. They choked, assaulted, and imobilized negligently my friends. Male security choked down my female friends, even though they were not a threat. Louisville Police was there too, and took the venue’s side with no hesitation. We were mocked and silenced by them (police and security) while trying to maintain a discussion, understand their reasons, and solve the situation. (They even took my water cup out of my hands for no reason).
