Loved this spot. My brother and I had just finished a long hike over 5 days, took a swim in the ocean, showered, and then came right to the clam shack. We ordered the clam strip platter, which was fried clam strips and fries with cole slaw on the side, and tartar sauce and ketchup on the side. We also got some rum drinks. I ordered the Bahama Mama shack drink special and it made me instantly relaxed and happy. The fried clam strips were delicious and obviously very fresh! The people working the restaurant were very friendly and gave us advice about how to find a ride to the Amtrak station. Service was fast, and the outdoor patio was shaded with a nice ocean breeze. Perfect way to end a long hike. My brother and I lingered on the deck a while and ordered another round of rum drinks before we headed on our way. Thanks clam shack!

Don’t pass this little beach gem up! Ive only had their Kickin Chicken sandwich, twice now, and it’s one of the best chicken sandwiches Ive ever had! Also tried my husbands clam strips and they were great. The batter is light and so crispy, the pickles taste home made and the slaw with low key sauce just add the perfect flavor combo, perfect for a beach lunch or dinner down by the water.

Been going to this location since I was a kid. Ownership has changed hands many times but the current owners obviously know what they’re doing. Great food and wonderful atmosphere! Access via boat if it’s not too busy. Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it was a bit pricey. Otherwise if you’re in the Charlestown Beach area, this place is worth a stop.

Such a great spot. Fast delicious food. Lobster roll was so good. Scallops were perfect with a light batter. The cocktail sauce is amazing. My kids got chicken tenders. They have something for everyone. We ate on the deck, with the sunset it was beautiful.

I get clam cakes when I stop by. They are excellent. All seating is outside , there is an awning, new deck they all look very nice. Parking is questionable, I think most people are beach goers. Walk up to the window, order, wait around the corner for clam cakes!

First time here, ordered two clam cake combos. I have to say this was the worse chowder I’ve ever had. It wasn’t creamy, it was as thick as wall paper paste with very little clam flavor.

I stop by your establishment on 8-6-22 Saturday. Order a Fish Sandwich. W/ Fries. It was so good I order a second one to bring home and share it with my wife. The sandwiches had a good size of fish. And the fries were good also. And we both agreed. Thank you to the young lady at the window very polite.

My wife, 3 year old, and I ate here this week, the food was great and came out quick. We are not seafood lovers so we got the burger, chicken sandwich, and popcorn chicken, with a side of clam cakes. The best spicy chicken sandwich I’ve probably ever head!!!!!! Clam cakes were light and fluffy. The prices were slightly higher than I’d like, but that is to be expected in these times and by the beach. We are locals and will be returning soon for another bit before an evening beach visit.
