We had the mixed grill and were able to split it between 2 people. We asked for an additional mint chutney salsa which was amazing. We will definitely be back.

This was a wonderful surprise since word of mouth got us to this newly opened restaurant. Met the owner and she was so nice and friendly. We got the Mantu for appetizers and we have had the Mediterranean dumplings before but this is much tastier.

For several weeks I have driven past the Kabob House on Watson Road thinking, “I have to try that place” (it just opened in February 2023). It’s almost Passover, Holy Week just started, and we’re part of the way through Ramadan. I was craving lamb. I ordered the Lamb Kabobs and they were delicious. (The photo below is the Beef Kabobs, but the Lamb ones look very similar.) Generous portions, friendly folks. Next time I think I’ll get a little more adventurous and try one of the dishes with a sauce so I can sample the Afghan Spice Palette.

This is my newest crave. Absolutely divine afgan food. The service is great, and the atmosphere is exotic. I more than recommend this place!

Such a nice place. Limited menu items but almost everything tastes good. Tried the samosa, combo kabab, chicken Tikka masala and lamb biriyani. Loved the food. Highly recommend this place.

Wow, starting with the customer service to the delicious, freshly made food, the experience was definitely unexpected. I had the mixed grill plate and it’s enough for 1 person to have a great dinner. The inside was very clean and cozy. Can’t wait till it gets a little warmer so we can dine in the outdoor area. The outdoor area looks very comfortable and parking was great as well. Will definitely be back for more.

Nice atmosphere and the wait staff were very pleasant and responsive. We started with sambosas and green tea which set the bar pretty high for our main course, aushak and combination kabobs (lamb & chicken). It was all excellent and plated with care. The kabobs were very tender and flavorful. The aushak had a really nice combination of textures and flavors.

We tried chicken biryani and kabuli polo with lamb shank. Both were great but the chicken was not boneless. I am not sure if they serve boneless chicken biryani. The lamb shank was really juicy and it is enough for two. It was a bit cold inside. I think it would be better if they adjust the temperature to have a more pleasant environment. They don’t have a parking lot but you can easily part in the street.
