I don’t write reviews and this pains me because Izumi is my family’s favorite local restaurant, and we’ve been going since the week they opened. Ordered delivery through Grubhub and the order was both incorrect and missing items. The worst part was that neither of my kids wanted to finish their meals because of the flavor and quality of the food. Everything was overly salty and the shrimp was both rubbery and had a strange taste.

The service staff was kind, quick and very pleasant. The bill was well over $100.00. I am Japanese therefore very familiar to the food. Everything was So OVER salted, it a complete. The chef was also delightful, sorry my super expensive meal was wasted. I couldn’t even get past onion soup, But to do that to a fillet minginon, lobster and shrimp was a terrible waste. We’ll come a other time.

Best hibachi in Oregon. We have had hibachi all over the world and this is some of the best. The food is more than plentiful and delicious. The owners/ employees are delightful and we highly recommend!! (The soup is amazing too).
