DiRiso Menu – Hastings-On-Hudson, NY

Type : Takeout Restaurant

Location : Hastings-On-Hudson, NY

diRiso was founded by Riccardo Befi in 2009 at the Hastings on Hudson Farmers Market. The residents of Hastings fell in love with the delicious Lasagna, Risotto Balls, and Babà Rustico that he was offering at the market. Eventually, his son Matteo started to assist with the business and they began to branch out into other local markets.
All diRiso products are produced in the company’s production kitchen in Tarrytown, NY. The company recipes have been years in the making and are totally unique to the brand. The team at diRiso is committed to using the highest quality ingredients possible, many of which are imported directly from Italy.

What a wonderful cafe bar. The risotto balls and fresh juices are in a class by itself. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!! I’ll definitely bring a cooler next time so I can grab the to go items.

These risotto balls are the *best* I’ve ever tasted. The crunchy exterior gives way to a light, fluffy, soft, savoury interior with a delicious filling. The lady working there was very sweet and described how to reheat them if I waited to eat them later so they would taste their best. HIGHLY recommend you try these. I splurged on 2, and felt deliciously satisfied instead of overstuffed and heavy afterwards. An added bonus they are GF, and will be introducing more options in the future. Light, crunchy, delicious! (I never post reviews; that should tell you how special this place is)

These Risotto balls are amazing! They also serve fresh juice which was delicious. Employees were kind and helpful. There’s nowhere to sit inside but they do have outdoor seating. Highly recommend

My good friend Thomas brought over Sfogliatelle and apricot pastries last night that blew my mind and palate. So, I dropped by today to more and the Bab Rustico (OMG) rice balls and lasagna.

You literally cannot go wrong with a single item sold at diRiso. The rice balls (all three flavors), the lasagnas, the sandwiches with impeccable attention to detail, and even the sweets- it’s all the highest quality, fresh, and delicious. Great customer service, and the guys running the place are really friendly- they will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy.

Everything that you buy at diRiso tastes like heaven. You know immediately that the food is prepared fresh (amazing sandwiches) and from very healthy and organic products. I have probably tried every single item there and were never disappointed. My favorite are mushroom arancini, pesto lasagna, freshly made mozarella, and grilled/baked peppers. But I cannot stay away from their sandwiches, which saved my life numerous times. And the desserts are to die for. I highly recommend this tiny gem! People in Hastings are lucky.
