Absolutely loved my dining experience here! The seafood was very fresh and tasty, one of the best Chinese dishes I’ve had in Michigan. Servers are also very friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was beautiful. Will be coming back!

Authentic Hunan cuisine. The taste is very good without being overly salty or oily. The environment is a fusion of Chinese and Western styles. The waiters are friendly, attentive, and polite. The cocktail is also good! The price is higher than a lot of Chinese restaurants, but the overall experience is worth it.

Most authentic Hunan cuisine in Michigan yet! Almost all dishes have high quality. A lot of traditional dishes have rich flavor, but not too heavy or oily.

I went this place my first time visiting Michigan and it honestly rivals all the restaurants i’ve been to in NYC. I’m not easy to impress and consider myself a major foodie but Shiangmi exceeded all my expectations. The food is obviously delicious and the staff is so kind. Can’t wait to bring more of my friends to this spot.

This is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to in Michigan. I was not expecting to be so impressed by this experience, but the food, drink, ambiance, and service all went above and beyond. To start, I was served a unique craft cocktail (Yang Gui Fei) with a distinctly Chinese flair and hints of rose, followed by several courses of Hunan specialties. I highly recommend the steamed chili fish for a delicately spicy plate that perfectly complements a glass of white wine. Additionally, I did not realize that pork rib and corn would make for a compelling soup combo, but the chefs at Shiangmi did that and then some!! Overall, an amazing experience and I will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Both the exterior and interior designs are incredibly unique and elegant, fostering an elevated dining experience. The food is authentic Hunan cuisine, from creative drinks, appetizers and main course dishes representative of the region, to delightful desserts. ShiangMi is a restaurant I will go back to again and again.

I am from Hunan and this place is definitely worth to go. The service was great, and the food was tasty. Not all dishes on the menu are authentic Hunan food but most of them are. I would definitely bring my friends here next time.
