Happened upon this little gem as we were searching for a place to grab a sandwich. I always like to try small out of the way places . This is truly a fantastic surprise! Outstanding service and a menu that leaves one dropping their jaw in awe of the variety. The gazpacho is extraordinary! Rich and flavorful with their own garden tomatoes, right outside the door! Yes a garden and compost right at hand. We shared a BLT on excellent Sourdough with those same homegrown tomatoes. A free slice of homegrown cantaloupe to finish. We can’t wait to come back. Worth the drive from Lexington!!

Quality Pie is a must! Just the bread alone is worth a visit. Started brunch with a mimosa. My version of a mimosa is champagne with a splash of OJ. I’m the type that should make my own and enjoy at home. Don’t recommend the mimosa.

Absolutely wonderful tapas-style fare. Plus, of course, delicious pies. They seem to be going a brisk takeout business, but we sat outside. It was a bit blustery and misty, so we sat under the front instead of at the cute picnic tables around the side. Octopus was an outstanding entry, especially after some over-complicated meals I’ve experienced recently elsewhere.

On vacation, I was staying at Keswick Hall. My mom and I decided to venture into town for dessert. We love pie and were not disappointed. Fast, friendly with great service that serves amazing food. The pecan pie was so delicious.

Can a cookie change your day? Absolutely! Fantastic flavor and fresh. Nice neighborhood spot, easy walk or plenty of parking.

Disappointed. My sandwich was burned but on the plus side, my dog loved getting the half we ate there. The table next to me complained about the delay on food as it was 1015 and took 30 min. I know it is a fav of cville and glad everyone else has had a great time but it was bad – sammy and drinks. I give four because I don’t want to down a local business but it was my dogs dinner tonight. I probably should have said something while there but the atmosphere is odd. Sorry!

A wonderful little jewel in Charlottesville. I had the brisket on a biscuit, with an egg on top . . . Excellent!

Outstanding service. Extremely friendly staff. Very very clean. The food is nothing short of spectacular. The muffuletta is awesome. We were too stuffed to the pie but it looked great. Highly recommended. Eat outside if it’s nice. Great place.

With little knowledge of the menu or style of service, I entered Quality Pie just looking for a filling breakfast, preferably on the greasy side 😉 As the cashier was suggesting the most popular items, I was immediately drawn to the pork belly biscuit. I also ordered a Berliner Weisse style fruity beer. The food was outstanding! The salsa verde, fried egg, and pickled onions were delicious and added some moisture to the pork belly (not the most moist I’ve ever had, but delicious in the context). The cost of the entree was $12 and fueled me for the whole afternoon.
