Located at the summit of Bretton Woods, the grille is inside the summit lodge. Incredible views of Mount Washington, the valley and the Mount Washington hotel. Requires a gondola ticket ($28) and ride to the summit to be seated. Full bar, cafe; small plates, salads, bowls, and sandwiches. Desserts available.

Seating is first-come first-served, so there may be a wait. Also, the menu isn’t super extensive, as everything you can order has to be hauled up to the top of the moubtain. It’s a great lunch spot though, with beautiful views, tasty food, and good service.

Such spectacular views in an upscale ski lodge feel. Casual food in a beautiful setting. You do not need to ski or snowboard to be able to visit the grill, but there is a $28 gondola ride per person to visit.

Ride the gondola to the top where Switchback Grille is located. The best part is the breathtaking view as it overlooks the resort and cottages below. Only complaint is the menu is limited but the wait isn’t long and the food is good. I had to order the poutine but the gravy was salty. The beets salad is delicious, but my favorite was the Chili soup and it was the soup of the day and not a regular menu item. Kids menu available with crayons to color and so the games printed on the menu.

Wonderful setting for lunch or dinner. Located at the top of the Gondola ride on Breton Woods Resort. The views are timeless and peaceful. Our server Jordan knew the answers to our questions and offer additional tips. We went up for lunch and had a great meal and drinks for under $75.

The gondola ride was open at Bretton Woods. The views were breathtaking. My husband and i thought Switchback Grill at the top would be a wonderful place to enjoy the view of Mt Washington and the Mt Washington Omni Resort as well as the range of mountains. Little did we know that we would receive five star service from Robert who lives in Littleton. The food was scrumptious. We split a Rachel and there was so much to eat. The french fries were so crispy and the sandwich delicious. The spicy sauce for the sandwich we dipped our French fries in. Wonderful.
