Great atmosphere. Awesome outdoor patio — even when it’s cold (nice heaters). Staff is super friendly and attentive, especially CiCi. Adorable! Firehouse also has a really nice party room. Booked for several events in the past and everyone had a great time. Menu has something for everyone and the food is delish. Definitely my go to when I don’t feel like cooking OR I just want to sit at the bar and have a cold beer (great selection) or a glass of wine (good options). Bar staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive.

Firehouse Grill is one of my favorite local Evanston restaurants! The food and drinks are consistently delicious! I have used this location as a meeting spot for client and social meetings regularly in the recent past, and have come to deeply appreciate one of the staff in particular, the Host Cece! Cece always greets us with a warm welcome and fantastic service! Not only is she Hosting and greeting, but manages to have impeccable timing for meeting all of our food and drink needs during our dining experience! I always feel cared for and welcomed as a result of Cece’s attention and care for us! Seek her out when you are there and show her some love! There is one waitress in particular that always goes above and beyond to see to it that your dinning experience is a real pleasure. The food here was very good. We stopped for dinner on a weekday evening. The place was kinda busy, but not overly so. Our server was very pleasant, though not completely attentive. Getting our selections from the kitchen seemed to take forever. I had the meatloaf sandwich and my wife had fish tacos. We would return, but would hope for more efficient service timing. I might bring a book,……..or a jigsaw puzzle.

I’m uncertain who oversees the kitchen staff, but it’s remarkable that they can mess up the nacho plate. It specifically states on the menu that there are veggie refried beans. Although refried beans are veggies, well legumes. I do hope they use actual beans when they get it right.

Outstanding burgers, some of the best sweet potato fries I’ve had. Really nice patio with cute lights and heat lamps that kept us warm in cloudy 40° weather. Excellent hot drinks, service was really good and fast.
