Burt’s creation, the Yummy, is a mouthwatering combination of corned beef and pastrami on rye, complemented by cheese, mustard, and horseradish, with a side of pickles. we were in the Libertyville area looking for a deli and came across a Bursts deli. We were so impressed. We will drive back from Algonquin all the way there just for the sandwiches. The owner was amazing. The atmosphere was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious.

very sweet people with great service and food. the manager talked to me and had me laughing too hard. I needed that. I recommend this place to everyone. I felt so good when I left, and I have nothing but great things to say about the deli location. the sandwich was big enough to make 2 sandwiches. they are a little expensive but for a corn beef sandwich. they are not cheap anyway. enjoyed my experience

If I could give it 10 stars, I would. The “Yummy” is out of this world. Their Ruben is amazing. And it’s a multiple generations owner, who makes you laugh every visit, you really can’t get much better than this place. Go if you haven’t. You won’t regret it.

They just do not make em like this place anymore. Old School vibe, hole in the wall feel that has hot corned beef sandwiches that just melt in your mouth. Piled high and made to order. It’s not cheap and you’ll go broke if you eat there everyday, but one of the rare places these days that I say is worth it when you want to treat yourself.
