Great food and place. It has the best strawberry shake I’ve ever had and one of the best burger/sandwitch I’ve ever had. I do completely recommend this place vibe and food. This food chain has a lot of business potential if opened in the correct places around the country. It’s a shame they closed the only location in Houston, TX.

We have been to Ruby’s twice in 2 weeks. The first time, Saturday night and they were busy. One cook in the back and 3 people helping on the floor. Fiona was great, and our food came out quick, hot, and very good. I got a milkshake to end the night and it was so good.

Awesome retro diner with milkshakes to die for. Ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough milkshake and a cheeseburger with onion rings. My partner ordered the ruby burger with fries and a strawberry milkshake (fresh blended strawberries). The food is great and so is the atmosphere. Had a little trouble finding it, as it is inside the hockey rink. Definitely recommended.

Great food and great atmosphere. It’s nice that they serve beer also and have great shakes. Our favorites are calamari strips, mushroom burger, fish n chips, kids cheeseburger, kids Mac n cheese, fries, chili fries, and onion rings. This place is very Family friendly. They had 4 different TV’s showing 4 different kid friendly shows. For additional entertainment there is an ice hockey ring that’s viewable from certain diner tables.

Yesterday, my 98 year grandfather who is hard of hearing wanted to have a nice lunch with some family who were visiting from out of state. He really likes this Ruby’s so we met him here. The staff member, Byron, found us a quiet spot to sit with him and later turned down the music as we were some of the only people in the restaurant. He checked on us throughout the meal and we never wanted for anything 🙂 I was touched that he was so attentive! The food was also delicious! I would definitely go back there again based on the service alone.

Excellent food, great service, reasonable prices. Have always loved Ruby’s and it is still as good as it has always been. Favorites are the Turkey Sandwich (real roast turkey, not that deli-type turkey roll “product”), Mushroom hamburger but substitute chicken breast, and the cherry Coke.

This place is great! Atmosphere is old-timey, like straight out of an old movie. The staff is also really friendly!! They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Our server was named Barbara I believe, she was fabulous. She made many accommodations for our big party on a busy Saturday night. Food is pretty good, some American classics, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Ask for Barbara next time you go!!!

I’ve been a big fan of Ruby’s Finer for years! The atmosphere is upbeat & always immaculate. I dearly miss the Redondo Beach location but have come to appreciate the Palos Verde location which overlooks an ice skating rink–& we were entertained by some pretty impressive skaters. The staff at the PV Ruby’s were excellent, professional & enthusiastic. Excellent servers Fiona & Grace!
