I’m a big cheeseburger guy and after a long day in DC, I was ready to eat a delicious burger. Looked around and noticed that this place does flame-grilled burgers which sounded perfect. I’m a simple man with simple needs so I got the bacon cheeseburger. It’s a big thick boy which I typically don’t like I prefer a thinner patty but I gave it a free pass since it’s supposed to be more like a burger you cook outside on the grill. The problem I had with it is that it just wasn’t seasoned…it was flavorless. Which my old lady said as well. The fries were amazing and their chicken tenders were juicy and crispy. Although I love to cook, and I’m a chef as well, I am also a burger nut! I’m trying to always seek out that one good burger or best burger joint and sometimes don’t have time to make my own burgers… The Burger Joint has been my go to place in Annapolis, Maryland! With awesome dry-aged beef, and not just beef burgers, chicken, tuna, elk, bison, Turkey as well. I have never been let down with dry or over cooked burgers. Flavors, textures and umami are all there. Satisfying and comforting! Just as a burger should be! And the staff is friendly! Here are just a few samples of the burgers I’ve eaten at the Burger joint! I wasn’t impressed with this place at all. The burgers I selected, were not good. My French fries were cold, so I had to get them made over. The staff wasn’t friendly nor welcoming.

When you need a burger but not beef or Turkey- the bison is reliably delicious and you can get it on lettuce. The garlic Parmesan fries could be better but overall a satisfying meal. The kids meal options lack veggies or color. It would be great to have a carrots or salad option.

They do make their food fresh. I will say that. I had the garlic parm fries with my burger and they were trenched in their sauce super wet, didn’t realize it would come like that. I asked for a medium burger and it was burnt. The burgers are also small for a “burger place”.. in my opinion. Definitely won’t go again.

It has been 6+ years since I have been at this BGR. I was working locally when it was in its infancy. It had great food and the Manger and staff were awesome. Fast forward to this past weekend, same great food and one the staff members took over the management job and was awesome!! It is great to witness people thriving and love when business owners recognize the value of those that work for them!! Keep up the great work!!!

We were on an overnight trip and just so happen to walk into BGR in Annapolis. This was the best burger I have ever had! Juicy, flavorful and cooked perfectly to temp. I shared this with my husband and immediately regretted that I only got half! Staff were so friendly and polite. I thanked the chef for his delicious food !!

Burgers grilled right is a very accurate description. One of the best burgers I have had in 20 years. Absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful and everything was very tasty. Fries were hot, fresh, and perfectly crispy. I have found my new favorite lunch spot and burger. Definitely get the Kentucky burger and you will be very happy.

Can’t beat a flame broiled burger. The crew today were at the top of their game. Burger looked amazing and tasted as good as it looked. Fries were cooked perfectly and well salted. Price is normal for todays fast food. Hamburger tasted fresh and other toppings were as well.

Prior to me receiving my food, I was impressed by the friendly service. This is my first time here so that was a pleasant surprise. I love the atmosphere! Classic album covers on the wall, artistically styled tables. Mr. and Mrs. Pac-man on the bathroom! CJ was at the register and his customer service skills are impeccable! Greeting every customer as they come in gives this place a warm feeling. I will definitely be returning!
