The place was busy and seemed to only have two servers on. We waited as a group of 4 for about 7 minutes before we were seated. The longest wait was for the food. It was over 20 minutes. We almost left because the kids were so restless and hungry. We had never been to an IHOP but don’t plan to go back. The expense alone was not worth the wait. 80 dollars on four plates of breakfast. Go down the street and get a bigger plate of food, faster service for a better price. Our server was very nice and sweet. Even though the bill was expensive, we gave her a nice tip. She was really doing her best with the situation she was in.

Food was cold, burnt, black and terrible, service took forever, employees leave their belongings in the middle of the restaurant including their dab pens (in one of the pics), dirty crusty crocs, nail polish, perfume. Place is nasty don’t come here. If I didn’t have to give it at least a star I wouldn’t.

Used online service. The app glitches multiple times. Ended up calling and placing our order. The food was really good, however, I did end up with a mistake in my order and when I returned immediately to try and fix it, the woman working had locked the door behind me as it was 8:03 pm and they closed at 8 pm. Then proceeded to act like she didn’t hear or see me knocking as she ate a table in the dining room. This was my only bad experience with customer service, as my next encounter the app also glitches prompting me to make another phone order, this time I was helped by a tattooed gentleman who was extremely polite and helpful. The food was just as good this time as well.

Waitstaff was very kind and attentive. I believe that was more due to the fact that it was incredibly empty when I arrived, however, so I can’t attest to how kind and attentive they are when service picks up. I could see them cleaning very thoroughly while I was eating, which I appreciated. The food was pretty good, if not cooked a bit too crispy for my taste. Overall, a nice and quiet place to get a quick bite to eat!

Its okay. For prices you can get food better quality. We went there and waited 40 minutes after we ordered for our food to arrive. Someone who got there after us received their food quicker and they had a bigger party. The staff are very nice I feel like they just need more help with staffing.

Too start with they didn’t take credit cards. Waitress was flip and didn’t write down our order soooo therefore I didn’t get what I ordered or how many eggs I requested. She only brought 2 eggs instead of 3 she didn’t get my potatoes right she never came back with things correctly. She wasn’t a new girl otherwise I wouldn’t be posting this. NEVER will we go back too that particular IHOP and recommend no one else does.

The staff at IHOP I’m Rochester is incredible. They are friendly, personable and very hard working. The food always comes out hot and just as fast as possible as it is prepared. There are several places in the area for breakfast, but we always return to this IHOP because of the staff.

Slow service, almost walked out before a server came back on the floor so I could ask for new silverware (which was VERY dirty). Food was cold, eggs were rubbery. Place was dirty even though there was almost nobody in the restaurant. Not a good experience.
