Stopped in yesterday to pick up lunch and they were overwhelmed maybe just 2 people working there. The poor lady was waiting on tables, taking order and answering the phone. They had a good amount of business coming in just couldn’t keep up. Shrimp poboys were ok had the bread was falling apart and you couldn’t pick it up. The fries and onion rings were over cooked I did see a table that got an order and they cooked perfect mine were not. I’ve been by this location both with similar experiences. I won’t be back.

Very good eats. All the items I ordered were tasty and largely portioned.

Great food and wonderful service! We were passing through and wanted to eat somewhere we couldn’t eat at home. So glad we decided to stop here. Had a shrimp basket with sweet potato fries, muffaletta, red beans & rice, and grilled chicken salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Food is great – but my receipt doesn’t match my credit card – someone added extra tip to it (I tipped in cash) on 6/30. I’d love to speak to the owner if you don’t mind emailing me.

Didn’t even dare try the food. Upon entering the door was so sticky and dirty. I thought this was the quickest first impression ever. They can’t even clean the door how bad is it where they prepare the food? Turned right around and left. No customers on site btw.

Driving back to Austin after a weekend in New Orleans and could not find anything open in Lafayette on a Sunday. The proprietor answered the phone and said ‘yes, I am open today.’ We gave it a shot. The shrimp poboy was overflowing with shrimp and the crawfish etoufee was superb. All freshly prepared and the woman was very pleasant. All the locals, that were repeat customers, we spoke with that were there had nothing but praise for her also and what a great job she does. It is a bit out of the way but well worth it. Hope you get the chance to have the same experience we did.

Was trying new places around town, and stumbled upon this place. Suggest calling in an order, there is currently no dine in. Ordered the etouffee, which was delicious and the fish platter, which was also very good. Only thing I can complain about is the toast, I wish it was toasted or buttered at least.

Not the best po boy I’ve ever had, but still good! Daughter liked her chicken tenders and husband liked muffuletta. They were busy w pick up orders!

A must stop in Youngsville/Lafayette. If you like fried shrimp and oysters this is Nirvana. Best Po’boy sandwiches in the area. Can’t miss.

I got a seafood platter. It was disgusting. I couldn’t tell the difference between the crawfish, shrimp and oysters. It was that bad.
