Great portion sizes and the food is incredible. The broth for the udon was the best I’ve ever had. The depth of flavor was so refreshing. The udon noodles were so chewy and perfect. Katsudon is one of my favorite dishes, and the egg was so creamy and full of that wonderful dashi broth. So happy to have a wonderful spot with great Japanese food in Salem.

Excellent food. Every item is flavorful and makes me want more. I highly suggest trying something outside of your comfort zone because every single thing has been excellent. Order ahead so you don’t have to wait although it’s worth waiting. This place is a gem and so is the chef running it!

This place should be way more popular than it is! There’s tons of incredible options, both with meat and without! There’s seemingly only one employee (the owner) and he’s the sweetest man you’ll ever meet! And for being the only one cooking at the food, he’s incredibly quick! Great service, quality, everything! Please order from him! His food tastes just like Love Love Teriyaki, honestly even a bit better. I recommend this place 🙂

I’ve been eyeing this place for quite some time now and I thought that it may be closed because I didn’t see cars by it whenever I drove by. GUYS. If you love Japanese cuisine and you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out! The plating isn’t huge like in other restaurants. On the contrary I would say that they have small plates but the flavors are delicious and it gives you a better opportunity to try more than one thing! The guy serving was super nice and you can tell that this is genuine Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend!
