This is a brand new addition in the Memphis area. It’s located inside a Mediterranean grocery. The neighbourhood and the grocery both look a little shady. Although the restaurant was packed. This is a typical telugu/ Andhra style food place. I called them and ordered well ahead and even when I arrived the order was not ready! Anyways I didn’t mind- they prepared everything hot and fresh. The girl at the front desk was very inefficient. Even though I paid for goat/ mutton biriyani I discovered that she handed me the chicken biriyani!! The biriyani was good. The portion size was humongous. However, it was super spicy and quite oily. The chicken 555 was tasty and too hot and spicy for me. It looks like – even if I told them to make the order in medium spicy way, they didn’t care. There were slices of cakes/ pastries available and I got a slice of rashamalai cake- it was excellent. It was fresh, juicy, and moist with all the flavors. It was not too sweet, or heavy. I highly recommend it.
