The tortas are good, and the fresh sweet rolls are made fresh daily. The place is clean although they didn’t have condiments in the condiment bar. But over all the place is good for a bite when looking for fast fresh made Mexican food.

We’ve been coming to El Gallo Giro for what seems like forever. This is one of their newer locations. Since we were in the Anaheim area we decided to check it out. We were surprisingly disappointed. We used to LOVE their carne asada. Now it tastes like it has no flavor. The tamal was ok, the Caldo de Res lacked flavor, the quesadilla and tacos de Busche were probably the best items. The burrito was just ok, the carnitas inside the burrito were on the dry side and lacked flavor. We were also disappointed that they didn’t have some of our favorite agua flavors like Mango or Fresa de leche. It’s one of their smaller locations but has outdoor seating. The pan dulce selection is tiny compared to some of their valley or downtown locations. Maybe we’ll stick to some of the other locations and keep to select items. Also, we were mostly disappointed by the cost. I know prices are high everywhere, but these prices seems ridiculously high. Our family of 5 used to eat here for $60, today the bill came to $110. $15 for a bowl of soup with 3 small pieces of meat and root vegetables? Come on, not even Disneyland’s bowl of soup is $15. Just wow!

Good food, I have tried the burritos and tacos. For the meat, have ordered grilled chicken, asada and al pastor. All have been excellent. The atmosphere is not bad, at least they don’t have music blasting my ears . So, over all good experience.

Yummy food and nice atmosphere. The agua fresca “spa water” lemon with chia was delicious and refreshing. My child loved the music and decor.

I’m a vegetarian. So this place has a couple dishes for my choosing:) this is the veggie torta and a veggie taco of course I got it with the works. They even had some tofu veggie substitute instead of just greens which is nice. This was around 11.00. I had no drink. They even had a bread place which was nice. New place clean and the customer service superb. I ate outside which was nice music was loud Hispanic music but I was vibing to my food.. the pictures don’t do it justice. Great spot when you want to try something delicious .

Food is mediocre at best. Way over priced for what you get. I much rather drive an extra 5ins to the place on Lincoln and Euclid that is only $1.50 per taco. It’s way better tasting and quality is good and ita always fresh since their is always a line, which means the food is moving so it stay fresh.
