First time today and will absolutely come here in the future! Amazing restaurant here in Sunland and I’ve lived here for about 6 years now! Call me crazy for never having come here yet lol but I appreciate the wonderful service and the quality food! Thank you so much for today!

We come to ToriYen about twice month. The food is good, but it’s really about the exceptional service. We have gotten to know them and they are always happy to help and fun to talk to! It’s a small restaurant and sometimes they are slammed, but they do their best to treat every customer right. It’s one of our go-to local spots.

Just finished having dinner here with my brother and mutual friend. This place is legit. The service is incredible, the people are super friendly, and the food is amazing. Their decor is amusing and apparently they have a live band the first Saturday of each month. If you’re in Tujunga, do yourself a favor and check this place out. If you’re not in Tujunga, do yourself a favor and make the trip to check this place out. Highest recommendation, incredible experience.

Toriyen gets high-ratings not only for their great food (Choshu ramen was particularly awesome) and friendliness, but they were nice enough to let us in about 20mins before they closed (we weren’t paying attention to time) and celebrated my lil’ cousin’s birthday in a seriously hilarious fashion.

The first Japanese restaurant I ever ate in Sanfernando valley… It’ll still left a great impression. Friendly owner and fun clientele.

Came by for some ramen and was pretty good. We got an order of the chasu ramen and a seafood on that had a spicy miso base. I also wanted to try the sushi so I got an order of yellowtail and salmon roe. The sushi was was good quality and portion size of the fish was very generous. The staff was very friendly. Great local place to eat and the quality of the sushi surpasses many of the bigger chain sushi joints. Will definitely come here again.

A wonderful “mom & pop” place, not only is the service really friendly, but so are the customers, very clean and modern, small and cozy, food is very good, haven’t tried everything on the menu, I ordered a conventional bento box style entree and it was plenty enough.

Mouth watering sushi! Great selection, fresh, tasty. Where you bite in and it melts in your mouth. Too yummy to even take a photo. But I did manage to get a picture of the fried ice cream, which was amazing too.
