Tri Tip
Our tri-tip recipe is one that we have been making for friends and family at the Good Courage Ranch for years and we thought it was about time to share it with all the good folks at Wyatt’s. First we dry rub our tri-tip with our proprietary special blend of herbs and spices and then let it rest overnight. The next day we slow-smoke it for hours with chunks of mesquite and mop it at least once an hours with our secret mop recipe to keep it moist and add another layer of flavor. It is freshly slices to order and we hope you enjoy it as much as have over the many years out at the GC ranch! I almost forgot….our tri tip is served with a side of Mac & Cheese topped with Bacon Crumbles and a Parmesan Cheese Mix, our Signature Pico de Gallo Coleslaw, a slice of Texas Toast and a side of BBQ Sauce.		 $19.49

We had a really good time here. We had dinner here around 5pm on a Wednesday, just before the crowd showed up. It was Country Music night and we were treated with seeing what seemed like a bunch of locals Line Dancing! Great family atmosphere. The food wasn’t bad, it didn’t wow us, but it hit the spot and nobody complained.

This place is in the convention center(I guess?). It’s only open certain days of the week. Order at a small window all the way in back and they give you a number. Sit anywhere you like. There are just a bunch of tables, mostly family style. Feels like a big community get-together with a bunch of locals. Kids and adults alike.

Came here on a Friday around 5:30. Ordered the 6 inch pizza for $11. For a frozen pizza it wasn’t all that bad. Also had a Mango Cart. I’m sure this place will get more people as the evening goes on but RightNow it’s almost empty. Also was able to bring my dog inside. They do allow you to walk around without a mask.

We had no idea it would be hot here & full blown tourists all over. It took us close to 3 hours to accidentally find Wyatt’s. We were craving a burger. I can’t tell you enough how you better come hungry because you are gonna leave full as a tick! My husband and I could’ve split this burger basket. It was gigantic! We upgraded to onion rings and boy was the quantity generous. They do not skimp on portions. This was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Easily in my top 3 best burgers. There wasn’t a soul there, service was prompt, food was phenomenal, outdoor seating was impressive large. Get off the beaten path and find yourselves a burger fit for King Kong himself.

Wyatt’s has a super cool western vibe. We were there on a Saturday night and they had live music and a large outdoor patio area that is great in the time of covid. They had a dance floor as well. I had the tri tip sliders with a Siracha aoli and caramelized onions. I honestly want to go again and try more of their menu choices tomorrow. They had two bars to choose from for alcoholic drinks. I loved the outdoor lighting.
