Another good breakfast at The Midtowner. Whenever I’m visiting Hattiesburg, this is my Go To spot for breakfast. I’ve always enjoyed their eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and everything else. I had their omelet last time and it was excellent. This time I had their Avocado Toast topped with corn and feta. I liked it but not as much as I’ve liked their other dishes.

The wait is worth it, and it’s not even that long of a wait! I was blown away by the pancakes! A perfect breakfast. The coolest part is that the pictures on the walls are supplied by local museums!

Pleasant atmosphere, service was great. Food was good But I had the butchers omelet it was good but it needs toast with it and you have to order it separately. Wife had hardy breakfast it was good. Seen other meals that look good.

The Midtowner is a wonderful place to grab a really filling breakfast or lunch. Having been multiple times, I have consistently been satisfied by the quality and quantity of food. I have enjoyed thoroughly breakfast and lunch, I heartily recommend!

We did breakfast at 10 pm on a Friday in the summer with record heat. It’s good, a little warm inside. Really nice servers. The pancakes are good, and they skimped a little on the blueberries. Omelets are good – you’ll need extra cheese. Bacon has a weird flavor at first and it’s thick cut. The iced coffees are small.

Great experience. Wonderful service. We went with the all day breakfast menu. Traditional pancakes and side orders with hash. Excellent outcome. Really neat setting and very casual atmosphere. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I asked some of the patrons about their meals and no one was disappointed. It is in downtown Hattiesburg, Mississippi so you can do some great sightseeing to walk off your meal.

Server was great. We got banana foster french toast, sweet heat chicken and waffles, plain pancakes and hashbrowns. Hazelnut hot coffee and vanilla plain coffee. We loved it. No complaints at all

10/10 recommend.I took my mom & I out for breakfast, the wait was a little blurred, only 30 minutes. But the service and the food made up for it! I definitely recommend their sweet potato pancakes! Awesome place, we’ll be back one day to try the lunch. My waiter also was very friendly, I tipped big for him! I love good customer service!

Oh my, the banana foster short stack was so good. Hot, fluffy pancakes smothered in rich caramel sauce, fresh banana slices and toasted pecan pieces. Strong hot coffee tipped this breakfast to perfection. The hostess and our waitress were so nice. My cup never ran out of that black gold. A must stop in Hattisburg!!
