Amazing Fort Wayne institution that is still as good as the first time I ate here. Over 30 years ago.

Food portions smaller than expected, but still satisfying. Waitresses seemed overwhelmed, but very friendly. This was our second time back, always do our best to support local 🙂

First off you have to get the Louisiana shrimp for the appetizer. Then get the filet with scallops. Super cool and neat “hole in the wall” spot in Fort Wayne. Supposed to make a reservation but they had seats at the bar for us so that was neat and the bartender Natasha is super funny cool and very easy going. If you’re looking for great steak and seafood spot in Fort Wayne look no longer . It is this spot for sure!

We went to Oyster Bar for my birthday, and had a lovely first experience. Our waitress was fantastic too, but I don’t remember her name. It’s very cozy and the atmosphere/ambience is great. We want to try the backroom next time. We had Oysters, drinks, chowder, and entrees. Don’t skip the chowder, it’s excellent. I felt like I was on the east coast eating at a great seafood joint.

We have been dining at the OB for over 15 years. It is our date night spot of first choice. We have never had a lunch of dinner that was less than delicious. They know how to prepare all types of fish, shrimp, mussels, scallops and of course, oysters. But my all time fave is their New England Clam Chowder. I order a cup at every meal and have tried dozens of chowders from established, reputable restaurants along the coast of Maine, Massachusetts, Boston, Providence and nothing touches theirs. Call

Went here on for our 28th Wedding Anniversary on a Saturday evening. It wad very busy. Serive was outstanding. Julie was a server & ahead was so good. We got the Louisianna shrip for Appitizer…. so good!. Got the swordfish for dinner. One of the best prices of fish I have had. Desserts were really good, also! Would highly recommend & will be going back!

What a wonderful date night spot! My husband and I loved the oysters on the half shell, and the clam chowder was the best we’ve ever had! We’ve tasted clam chowder on the Oregon coast and this was hands down better. My husband and I agreed the scallops were heavenly, the prawns were alright in comparison, but still tasted delicious. Creme brulee for dessert made for the perfect end to the evening! Our waitress Gina was fun and extremely attentive. We appreciated the spacing between the courses to allow to take in the atmosphere and enjoy conversation. We will definitely be back! Would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy date night spot !

Do yourself a favor and plan your next dinner out at The Oyster Bar. Our waitress, Jamie, was superb. She went above and beyond to make our experience memorable; she even memorized my wife and I’s names! Their owner checked up on us TWICE to ensure everything was to our liking. Not to mention the food and drinks were spectacular. Don’t miss out on this Fort Wayne staple.

Came here for my significant other’s birthday and didn’t expect them to be super busy on a Tuesday night. Food was absolutely delicious, highly recommend the clam chowder and the seafood au gratin. I couldn’t decided between shark and their walleye so the waiter split both for a $2 upcharge. Shark was delicious, never seen it on a menu before. Only took off a star because the menu prices were different online. We waited 5 minutes or so for the menus so we pulled them up online. My martini was listed online for $11, was $14. My dinner $28.95 online and $31.95 in reality. Other then that, food was amazing and our waiter was super friendly.
