My first visit here and the food quality is very impressive as close to authentic Italian food. Ordered the usual mussels, calamari, lamb chop and Lam shank.. down with 2 bottles of red wine too.. the mussel is welcome with special broth and the calamari is well prepared with crispy crust and tender inside. The Lamb chop was really good and tasty cooked in medium well is perfect way to eat. Nice ambience and I enjoyed the food quality here. I will come back again!

OLD Context: I ate dinner here many years ago and I was not that impressed. The portions were sad and the food not memorable. NEW Context: Fast forward to Mar. 2013: the service and the food (quality, size, etc.) are quite, quite, quite GOOD. I don’t know if they hired a new chef or developed a new menu, but this is far better than the Pastaria down the street and the prices are almost the same. I can’t wait to go back!!! So happy that things have changed!

Good ambience. I usually get lamb shank here – it is delicious and consistently well prepared. The service never dissapoints. Most of the time my wife and I go here for dinner. This place is quite good for lunch, too.

Table service is great and the ambiance is pleasant and reserved as always, but the kitchen is not showing that special touch that has brought us back over the years. The salmon and orrichiette were “eh”, not great. Also note that booking a reservation on Open Table made no difference.

Cute downtown restaurant. Nice outdoor seating for little pooches. Good food and the ink pasta was a hit as hard to find nowadays. Only recommendation is to add some middle of the ground wine by the glass – Chardonnay, they had either $8 or $9 per glass and if you didn’t like them, the next level up with $20 per glass of Grgich. Something in the middle should be offered.

Service wasn’t the friendliest, but they did wait for about 30 minutes after seating us for our 4th member to arrive. I’m not sure our server ever smiled at us and undoubtedly did not try to make more conversation than was absolutely necessary. We had to ask for a couple things twice.

One of the best Italian restaurant I have been too. Ambience, food and hospitality are top notch. We had the bruschetta and truffle fries along with their specials carbonara and seafood risotto. They were awesome. The dessert was great too. Try the creme brulee.
