My wife and myself had supper on September 23rd 2017 and the food was great. We both had two chicken breast sandwiches and shared fries and onion rings. The chicken was juicy, the fries and onion rings we’re hot. The sandwich was very fresh , and the bun was super fresh, chicken was extra large , and all rest of the garnishments we’re super fresh. Service was very quick and super friendly. We had a chance to speak with the owner and our waitress. Great people. Will definitely be back.

Went here as we were doing a wedding at the fairgrounds. Server was very friendly. Not sure what was going on in kitchen, there place was not crowded yet the orders were not getting out. Food was not hot and was just mediocre at best. There were three if us, and we ordered there different items all came the same way. And one it’s is didn’t get our salad. Over priced for what you get. This could be a great place. I’m not sure who owns it, would make a huge difference if the staff was trained to cook, serve and manage time.

Had to give one star just to be able to write a review. We just left the restaurant after a 1 hour wait (after ordering our food) and never received our meal. Watched 4 couples come in and order, eat and get drink refills. It wasn’t very busy in there. I went up to ask for status and they never made our meals. No communication for an hour after we ordered. Very disappointed and will not be back. Too bad since we recommend this restaurant to friends that camp in the area. We were completely ignored and never received our meals. No apologizes either.

We just ate at the Main Street Cafe tonight, 10/01/16, while heading home from a day at Arbor Lodge. The food was VERY yummy, better than most places we have ate at in Omaha, with good reasonable prices! My husband had a burger and he said it was really good. You can tell the meat was fresh and generous portion. The onion rings are out of this world!! You could tell they actually batter them themselves. Everything tasted home cooked, not convenience food some restaurants try to use. The ranch dressing was also very yummy with the onion rings, wasn’t watered down, and had very good flavor! I had the philly cheese steak sandwich, which was flavorful as well. The kids menu prices are low, which was very nice. The service we received tonight was excellent as well! We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, it brought back memories of being in my grandparents old general store when I was younger! I could definitely see us making the drive back to the Main Street Cafe to have a meal again. Well worth the drive!!

Great food and great price. The burgers are fantastic and the catfish poor boy was excellent! Also the Oriental chicken salad was delicious! Love the small town atmosphere! All original woodwork throughout the place. 50s vibe! The server was amazing!

Oh my gosh! Amazing food and service! We had the breakfast sandwiches and they even let me change the meat out for an extra egg!! My friend got the sausage sandwich and loved it as well. I love small town cafes and this one was so good! We had Jodie and she was fantastic!!(: also the coffee is the best!!

The waitress was very friendly and the food was delicious. The pork tenderloin is big enough to share. We also had the potato skins which were also good. We are going to have to come back for pie.

Really excellent food and superb service. They catered lunch at an event for us at a nearby state park and accommodated our large group for dinner later in the restaurant. The owner came out and checked on our experience and chatted for a bit.
