We loved this place . My husband had all you can eat crabs and ı had blackened cod . Both were super yummy , We enjoyed it a lot . Also their key lime pie was fresh and yummy !

Scary Stories
Great looking place on the water. They were short staffed but our waiter was top-notch and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. The food was awesome and they had a cool car show there today as well. This place is awesome and the owner is a cool guy.

If you’re coming by boat, it’s a typical Potomac river dock bar with average food. We chose the crab cakes instead of blue crabs due to the sizes being available small/medium . Food was good. Nothing overly mentionable. The service was slow and the waitress seemed very young and inexperienced. She mistook my wife being done as me being done and started clearing my plate. Strange… we used to come via boat a few years back when we lived in Southern Maryland, but since we live in central Virginia, there are better options in the Northern Neck and on the Bay.

My hubby and I came here the other day since it was nice outside and we wanted to see a beach. We drove 1.5 hours to get here and we had a fantastic time. Our server was great and super friendly. We got the steamed shrimp, hushpuppies and the smoked whiskey wings (a must get) and everything was very good. The prices are very reasonable and the view from the deck is great. The outdoor area was spread out so we were comfortable during this time of socially distancing.

Ordered the “Cream of Crab Soup” and it was by far the nastiest soup I’ve ever tasted it was very thick like canned cream of mushroom and had the consistency of cold gravy rather than smooth creamy soup. Im from Maryland so seafood restaurants are my go-to but the crab cake was very bland, it was crispy but in all my life this is the first time I’ve ever had to add salt & pepper to a crab cake. I also ordered the “Fried Rivershore Platter” for $30 and it was flavorless! It tastes as if there was no seasoning added at all just tossed in flour then thrown in grease thats it. The Platter includes fried fish and they forgot to cook it and put it on my plate smh! 2 of my scallops were extra fishy for some reason i think they were old.The 1lb steamed shrimp is the only thing I would order again. The drinks had good flavor but weak I drank 2 and didn’t even get a buzz.

We sat on the deck and we had a really nice server I think her name was danielle but I can’t remember. We got the broiled crab cakes and the steamer platter. And snake head bites they were delicious everything else was pretty good the crab cakes could have been better but we loved the atmosphere and service we received we will be going back for sure.

Jackson the waiter was great. Kind polite. Keep it up Jackson!! As for the owner . He’s very unprofessional We got drinks with no alcohol and he argued with us that there was a shot and a half in there. Ummm no sir check yr bottles. Offered to sell us a shot to add to it. Um no sir. Should of offered to remake the drinks correctly, but no. He was abrasive and rude, then tried to charge us for drinks we didn’t touch. Bartender didn’t talk to us. I’ll never go there again. Oh hushpupies were overcooked. But did I mention Jackson the waiter is the best
