Who doesn’t love a good bagel. This place has the best bagels in the entire Chicagoland area. Old school deli with a great selection of salads and fantastic lox, whitefish and other cold cuts. Always worth the trip!

I came in and it was only one customer inside. They took about two minutes to acknowledge me. I ordered a lox bagel with plain cream cheese. The lox was salty, too much cream cheese and too many red onions. With a soda and chips, the bill was $14.38.

The bagels are fantastic and everyone is very friendly. Especially Cecilia! Sometimes I have difficult orders when friends come to town and I feel like Cecilia always gets me on those occasions, but she always is super helpful and gets the orders 100% correct. Deli meat was good but the corned beef wasn’t cut right so it was long strands and chewy. Beef Pastrami was outstanding. Chicken Noodle soup tasted like it was made Saturday, I was there on a Monday. Most disappointing was the potato salad which was either spoiled or on the fridge of going bad. Couldn’t eat it. There are lots of other items I wanted to try but I’m not sure I’ll go back. Friendly service may be the reason I give the lox and pizza bagles a shot.

I have been using Upper Crust Bagels since they came to Deerfield. I had an occasion to order a fish tray yesterday that I get at least once a year from them.
