Fresh off the fields from metal detecting for Digstock 2023. Our food was the best if the 4 days we spent in NC. We are from NE Ohio and have some great steakhouses. We wanted to try a new place when on vacation. Steak was amazing and the sweet potato was perfect.

We’ve eaten here in the past & it was good. The last time there was not a good experience almost a year ago, but we decided it was time to go back on Saturday evening. First off, I must say the service was great. Cristy was a wonderful server & very friendly. The salad bar was well taken care of & fresh. We ordered a 16 oz. split (8 oz each) & we both got a skewer of shrimp. We were finishing our salads when the plates arrived & the server checked back before we even started on our plates. Once I looked at my plate, I noticed that my steak was cut very thin on one side & not much thicker on the other; not good. To cut to the chase, the shrimp were over-seasoned & over-cooked; our potatoes were luke warm, as were the steaks, which were also over-seasoned. Did we complain? No. Some times, it’s just not worth it. The food was edible, but the next time we drop $75 for a meal, it won’t be at Rib Eyes/Tarboro. Yes, we left with full tummies, but we could have gone to Hwy 55 & accomplished the same.

Nice employees but the food is not good. Ordered steak and shrimp and my steak looked like it was boiled, had no flavor, and still oozing blood when I asked for it to e cooked medium. I left without eating.

The food was ok. I was very disappointed that the salad bar was out of eggs during dinner time. The waitress told me they were waiting for “the truck to come for the week.” How is this acceptable when they are right across the parking lot from a grocery store? How much would it have cost to purchase a couple of cartons of eggs? Even if they had to a temporary surcharge it would have been a temporary solution.

Food is bland. Flavor went downhill after the ownership changed. Not the same as the other Ribeye locations. Zero seasoning on the steaks now. Zeee-row. The Bar is the only reason we keep coming back.

I’ve been wanting to go but I was disappointed. The lady at the door didn’t have a welcoming greeting to start and a dirty plate at the salad bar. No we didn’t have a salad. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us a few times after we received our food. The air came on when we got our food. My steak even though seasoned good it was cooked well not medium well like I ordered it, it was so small it was hidden under the toast which tasted better than the soft fries. My friend enjoyed hers although she did take a good look at the chicken breast she really enjoyed her grilled shrimp and baked potato after she fixed it up.
