Been coming here for years and never thought to give them a review. As a coffee shop the place is excellent – really good coffee and outstanding baked goods. I recommend their cranberry orange scone the most (though all scones are great) and their bran muffin is also ridiculously good. There’s plenty of other options, even blended smoothie types – the chocolate mint is particularly tasty. They’ve been doing light food like sandwiches for a while too, their BLT is quite good if not as good as if you were at a regular full restaurant. Tons of light everywhere, super friendly staff, it’s a great place to come get some work done on your laptop, read a book, or hangout with people. Doesn’t usually get noisy and I find it fairly priced. Definitely my Saturday morning spot most weeks. If you’ve never been, you won’t be disappointed.

I Googled “best coffee in Tuscaloosa” and this came up! Game on! Being the coffee snob I am, challenge accepted! Maps brought me to the address but it wasn’t apparent that I was here. The gold letters on the glass door made it hard to distinguish. Once I figure it out, I’m happy I did! Great atmosphere with a laid back vibe. Ordered a medium latte and cranberry orange scone for a little over $6, I believe. I asked for ristretto shots to see what they knew. Cashier didn’t but barista said she knew but couldn’t do it (pre-programmed shots, I’m sure!) I had fun explaining to cashier. Foam was extra silky smooth but disappointed it was in a to-go cup when I was sitting in. It looked wonderful! All in all, nit picking but seems like a GREAT place. Thanks for serving!

I loved the inside of this coffee shop. It looked like the kind of place you could hang out and enjoy coffee and breakfast at a leisurely pace. Unfortunately I was there for take out. The coffee was spot on. I had an egg and bacon sandwich. Unfortunately it wasn’t the best sandwich I’ve had. Maybe there other food options are better but this sandwich wouldn’t be a repeat for me.

We went two Saturdays in a row because we enjoyed it so much. My husband and I had the Sweater Weather latte with oat milk and no whip. I had the blueberry muffin, pumpkin muffin, and avocado toast with an egg. We also tried their pumpkin scone as well. The muffins are big and the pumpkin muffin had delicious cream cheese in the top. It did not have the fake pumpkin taste that often pumpkin flavored things have. All of the pastries had a good texture and flavor. I did not like the pumpkin scone as much. I wish the avocado toast had been a little more warm and toasty when it came out but overall it tasted good. The time between ordering and when the food came was pretty fast.

Delicious brunch! We had Veggie Eggy and an egg sandwich. The Red Velvet Cake cups were phenomenal. The Snowflake Lattes were also wonderful!

Stopped by this Heritage House for something to warm up with and a little snack. There are apparently a couple locations throughout Tuscaloosa, but this one is near the Black Warrior River. There are no huge signs or anything, so I never knew it was there until I went looking.

It’s great to have a local coffee shop in town that when you travel, you are able to compare it to. The atmosphere is always great and vibe is chill but lively when the college students are in town. The staff is super friendly and they run like a well oiled machine. My preferences on breakfast are the breakfast quesadilla or the burrito. The scones are baked fresh daily a great morning pick-me-up as well as the baked oatmeal with fruit is ready very quickly and great to order when you gotta go. I probably come here to much but always makes me feel better once I’ve stopped by.

I work for a nonprofit that is new to the Tuscaloosa area. This has quickly become our favorite place to host small meetings with others. The baked oatmeal and conecuh biscuits have been favorite food items. No complaints on any of the coffees we have had as well. There is always lots of table/seating options and the staff has been incredible every time.
