Looks are deceiving. If you desire simple, this is your place. Nacho pictures are loaded with everything you expect ,however, it was simply round corn chips with what looks to be squeeze cheese and French dips are simply roast beef on a hoagie. No Swiss cheese or onions. When ordering I guess you better do it with a lot of details so you get what you’re expecting.

I’ve never had a bad meal at Big J’s. I usually grab a Big J burger, fries and ice cream/ or shake every time I go. The hot old fashion sandwich is another favorite. My kids love to eat here as well. Large menu selection: burgers, pizza, pizza bombs, sandwiches, kids menu…plenty of options to satisfy the whole family. The staff is wonderful, friendly and service is always turned out quick with quality food. Establishment is always very clean. Definitely a place to stop if you are in St. Anthony, out to the sand dunes.

The food was delicious, the service was very kind and the facility was clean. The only negatives I found was the food took a while, but it’s cooked after you order, so not that bad, and they forgot our shakes. But after we went back up, they quickly rectified that, and they were delicious. We also got there shortly before closing time and there was a large group that must have come from a baseball game after us, so not that surprising. I also thought the prices were decent for the food.

Decided to try something different and found here. Hamburger was terrible. Thin, no flavor, and tastes exactly like Artic Circle, which is the low end of fast food. Husband tried their bomb, and that is what saved them. WOW!! The bombs was the only thing we enjoyed! Will be back for a bomb! I wish their hamburgers were better quality and better tasting!

Traveling through, not a locals point of view. Family of 5 right before lunch service. Food was mediocre. The french dip was disappointing, meat was dry and tough and lacked a lot of flavor, bread was lackluster. Fries were hard, yet not crispy. Tater tots were the highlight for me, but I assume they were just out of the bag. Wife enjoyed her burger more than we enjoyed ours. I would have been ok with the atmosphere, service and quality if the price reflected, but with tip we were close to $50. McDonalds would have been a step up and I would of saved a couple bucks.

The food is really good there, but if they tell you it’s going to be 25 minutes for a pizza. It’s closer to 45 minutes to 50 minutes. I wish it just be honest about how long it’s going to take. That’s why I’m giving them such a low rating. The food is excellent but it takes forever

usually love big js but their drive through is a mess. i waited in the drive through for 45 minutes with 3 people in front of me who ended up just leaving before ordering. i did a pre order online through the phone so i was just coming to pick it up. they need to have orders who have to wait at the window pull forward or park and bring it out to them or something so they stop losing business. just frustrating i do an online order to be fast for a reason then end up having to wait on someone else’s order before i get my food.
