The food came out Luke warm, very over cooked and dry. I had the grilled chicken over yellow rice with green beans and corn nuggets. The green beans were straight from the can with no seasoning. The chicken was indeed grilled but very over cooked, dry and hard to chew. The corn nuggets were alright if you like them over fired. The best part of the meal was the yellow rice. It was cooked properly but lacking amy flavor. I was very disappointed, especially since we had to wait quiet a while to receive the meal….

A friend and I went here for breakfast. We both had the Hometown biscuit. He had scrambled eggs and I had over medium. It was a lot of food. It was so awesome. You have to go and try it. You won’t be sorry I promise.

The food is so good but we waited almost an hour from when we ordered to when we got our food with no visits from our waitress with an update so we sat for 30 minutes with empty drinks too. I’ve never considered getting up to go find someone for an update but it was to that point.

I stopped into Jefferson House Restaurant on a Monday morning. I was pleasantly surprised with the warm greeting and southern hospitality. The food was served fast, hot and delicious not to mention at a fair price! It was everything one should expect from a quaint country diner!

I really hate to have to leave this. But honestly I have had the worst experience. Everyone raves about this place so I thought ok, it should be a good experience. First off my server never came back except once. My food sat in the window for 6 minutes before being brought out, and was cold. I also found a hair in my hashbrowns and all she said was well what do you want me to do! Just a complete waste of time and money!
