We traveled to Salida, CO from Fort Worth, TX. Pleasantly surprised to find Las Camelinas and loved the Salsa and the cabbage garnish they serve at the table. We had the huge Mexican Pizza and the Tortilla soup. Good food!

Awesome decor and very friendly staff! Food was good, though we were hoping for a little more flavor for the reviews that we read and for the high price we paid for standard Mexican fare.. This was probably the most expensive Mexi meal I’ve ever had anywhere (and I’ve had a lot!), and we all got pretty normal stuff.

I love Mexican food and I cannot think of a better restaurant than this one. The food is spot on, absolutely delicious. The margaritas are not the greatest, but they are very good. The salsa is great, but the Mexican cole slaw they serve was a revelation, I could not get enough of it. The location, decor and wait staff are also incredibly good. I will definitely be eating here again.

Order the Molcajate for two. Combination of grilled chicken, skirt steak, chorizo, shrimp and poblano pepper, cheese in a hot stone bowl with tortillas, lettuce, cilantra, sour cream, rice and beans on the side. Best Mexican food I have ever had. The flavors were incredible. Matched with the perfect margarita (skinny) fresh limes, nice liquor, great pour. We took leftovers back to our cabin. Best Dinner again the next night. Mom owns and runs the place but her son is actively involved. Fun, joyful people! Very honest to, as I left my sunglasses and came back 24 hours later and they had saved them for me. Incredible Food and EVEN Bettter people putting their Love into the food and service.

First time visiting this restaurant. The service was excellent, the food absolutely delicious, with a portion large enough for three of us. We met the owner and learned about how she obtained such lovely restaurant decor from some of her travels. We really enjoyed ourselves. I will definitely visit again when I am in Salida.
