Food was pretty good, service was strange. I’m aware things get short and people get busy but not communicating things directly is an issue. I appreciate them giving us 25% off our meal due to slow service. Great drinks too. I think in the end you just have to hit it right.

With all of the options in the area, we have have chosen to eat here multiple times. Yes it’s a little on the shady side, but I have always found hidden gems when taking the road less traveled. The food was amazing and the waitresses have always been friendly and attentive. They do add an automatic gratuity ( we were a party of 2) so watch your bill. But I haven’t minded because the wait staff has been fantastic. My wife even said that the enchiladas were the best she has ever had! Margaritas were strong and delicious. If you like finding hidden gems, this is definitely the place for you.

Terrible inedible food. Pictures from 3-4 years ago are not accurate representation of the food now. I’m not picky and seldom criticize restaurants. My partner and I could not finish our $78 meal. No flavor in anything. Rice, beans, meat, corn, burritos all inedible and disgusting. We were hungry and hoped a non chain resort restaurant would have had better food. Disappointed and a huge waste of money. Whoever is in charge of designing the recipes should please quit to save us all.

Went for dinner on Monday and Wednesday because we were staying at the hotel and it was convenient. Monday the 2 kids meals were wrong, but quickly made right. Our bill went to another guest so we paid her bill instead (it was cheaper but still). Wednesday the beans in the kids meal were different than on Monday, I wasn’t given a plate to eat my very dry chicken fajitas, our server was barely around and the other 2 servers were in the back of the restaurant having a very loud conversation. When the bill came, 20% gratuity was added automatically, even though its not stated anywhere nor was it added on Monday’s check (same guests). I would not recommend this restaurant regardless of its convenience. Too many inconsistencies.

People are rude, we came in an HOUR before closing and told us to-go only, which was fine but when we asked about getting chips and salsa they said they were going to have to charge us for them even though they are free when you sit down to eat there. It wasn’t our fault we couldn’t sit to eat so why should we have had to pay for them. When we asked why the lady was very rude about it and basically started pushing us out of the restaurant.

Thinking i was going in for the hotels continental breakfast with some cold sausage, cheerios, mushy eggs. I end up finding out its $45! For something that would be free at any other hotel. Not getting 1 more cent from me and i was gonna come in tonight. Manager of restaurant is rude too. Insinuating that i was trying to walk or on the bill when i had no idea i was being charged for that cold food i ate because i thought it was included with my stay. And how could i walk out on the bill when i was standing there talking to you about it when you decided to tell me that. Also you held my family hostage till i came downstairs. Shame on you red lion for supporting this. Will be going on my review of this hotel as well.

Tacos are the size of tortilla chips. I read all the reviews and still went. Big mistake. Overpriced taco bell. Also, front doors are locked and you have to walk through the neighboring hotel to get in.
