Having breakfast at this diner is like going into a Time Machine in all good ways. The decor is unlike anything you’ll see on Main Street. Then, the warm and genuine hospitality. This is a neighborhood diner and if delivers. My son would only have breakfast here and I drive 20 minutes to meet him there. The waitress (sorry forgot her name) is young, friendly, attentive and professional: a rarity these days. We always see familiar faces here which is the best proof that it’s a great place to eat.

A historic part of Mineola since 1948, this diner is very nostalgic for me. The last time I was there was in 1965 as a young high school senior with 3 of my friends looking for a good meal! That was more than a half a century ago, and the food was as good then as it is now.
