This is one of the best places to eat in San Jose. I’m not saying that they are a 5 star restaurant that will awe you with their incredible atmosphere. On the contrary, they are a small unassuming spot in a strip mall where every dish and each person welcomes you in with comfort and genuine flavor. On top of that, they have an entire counter full of beautiful and delicious sweets.

Picked food on a Saturday afternoon, not satisfied with the taste and freshness of any of the items, and too expensive. Rasgullas were old, samosas appear refried, malai kofta not well cooked. Disappointed big time ! Person at the counter wasn’t courteous as well.

In this pandemic all I want to do is support local business and avoid writing reviews. But I have to write for this one, the guy who works here or somebody who picked up the phone!! When I told him about my missing item, after providing him all the details about my order, he was acting as if he is doing a great favour… he has no sense to talk, or help his customers. At any point he did not apologize for his mistake on top he was throwing a fake American accent trying his guts out to be too frank. Also the owner should really look into this matter and teach some work ethics to his/ her employees.

I ordered from this place on doordash. It was $12.50 for chicken tikki marsala. It was another $3 for garlic naan. With tax and tip it came out to $20. I was so upset to see it didn’t come with rice and they gave me plain butter naan. Check out my IG page for more pictures. @foodie_wit_a_bootie_408

I never bothered to write a review for any restaurant … but this definitely made me do it. I bought malai kofta today for around $13 and How many koftas did I get ??? “3 smallest koftas” you must be really kidding me. This is utmost terrible portion I ever received from a restaurant for that price. Is this normal ??? I was looking at the bowl and my heart sank. It was not even enough for two ppl to share….And the two chicken biriyani I bought please don’t ask about that…. You guys need to step up the game else I don’t think ppl will visit your store next time. This was first time I ever visited and unfortunately my last also.
