I seriously love everything about this place. Amazing Mexican food, great vibe, fun and attentive service. It was just a nice time. The drinks were strong. I wish this was closer to Dallas center but it is well worth the drive. Just go on a nice day to take advantage of the outdoor seating. There’s a free parking lot for the area but it does seem like it can get packed and there is limited parking in front of the restaurant.

In my order for delivery I had a cheese taco and cheese enchilada. Absolutely a waste of money. The cheese was not melted at all. It was a very hard clump of cheese. Very poor quality food.

The food was decent nothing extraordinary. Ordered veggie enchiladas and queso. Queso was bland, I don’t recommend it. Veggie enchiladas was good, the portion was small compared to other Mexican restaurants. But it was enough for one person.

Mena’s is a great spot to stop for lunch or dinner. Friendly staff and cheerful atmosphere. The patio is nicely situated to be shady in the evenings. Ordered beef and chicken fajitas. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great.

Nice decor, quite spacious with the outdoor seating, and attentive staff. Parking is limited in the front but plenty in the back. On a Saturday afternoon it was not busy at all so got seated quickly. Nice array of options to choose from and the brunch menu was excellent with their omelettes being quite creative. I had the brisket omelettes with potatoes and fruit. The only thing didn’t like about the dish was the small amount of potatoes they serve. The Pollo Con Hongos (with ribeye instead) was sizzling hot and the ribeye had good flavor and tender. My brother had the brisket tacos and there was not one left so that tells you something and the chicken enchiladas were good with the verde sauce. I recommend this Tex Mex Cantina if you’re in the area.

Food and drinks are okay. Our seven layer dip was basically thin cheese soup. I think this place is trying too hard to be where it is (trendy Flower Mound area) instead of what it is, a Tex-Mex restaurant. I’d rather the food and drinks be great in place of trying to be posh.

Clean place, looks new and fresh. My wife and I shared a beef and chicken fajitas plate. More than enough food for two. The meat was so tender we could cut it with our fork. The meat was lightly flavored with a red sauce that made it mouth watering good. Would recommend this place.
