This was our first time at this location. It lived up to our high expectations from other locations. Our food and beverage choices were excellent. My only criticism was that our dinners came out too quickly after the appetizers. Next time we will order the entrees separate since they are very quick. Our high bill was due to ordering high end margaritas.

What a great experience and a superb staff! We had a last-minute group of 15 that came for lunch on Mothers Day. Despite the holiday, the staff had a table ready for us, outside, before we even all arrived! Since we were outside (as requested), the sun was on us so one of the staff members got her *personal* umbrella and taped it to the back of a chair for the baby in our group! If that wasn’t enough, once some tables in the shade freed up, they let our kids move over (which means less available options for guests AND they had to clean an extra pair of tables!). Needless to say, we were very impressed with their great service and great attitudes! To top it off, the food was excellent as well as we all loved what we received! I have highly recommend Plaza Axteca — especially this location – after this experience! Well done!

I’ve been to Plaza Azteca multiple times and the food and service are always very good. The atmosphere is just OK – I much prefer the atmosphere of the Wyomissing location. It’s a little pricey compared to similar Mexican restaurants.

I had an invitation to eat and we decided to go here, because we were close. I have eaten in Wyomissing, I thought it was the same. Because in Wyomissing they cook better and serve better. My son ordered empanadas. They brought them burned. We asked them to change them and they did. But the dough for the empanadas tasted bad and had a bad taste. When I was going to tell them quickly, the waiter brought the bill. My son still hadn’t eaten and I hadn’t finished eating. We felt that he wanted us to leave when they gave us the bill before eating. The first time they give me the bill before I finish eating.

When this first opened, my wife and I were the very first customers. The food is always pretty good. Usually the service is good as well. Tonight, the service was not so good. Orders wrong, saw the waiter only a couple times as he spent all his time chatting to the female workers and a table of what I assume to be friends of his. The prices are definitely too high, but these days, what isn’t. Don’t know that I’ll be back real soon, but will try again in the future.
