First and last time I’ll be coming here. When I first arrived I was excited to try. But after waiting for 45 minutes for our food, I was hoping the taste of the food would make up for the time we waited. Once we all got our food, we weren’t very impressed by the appearance. My mom ordered a chorizo platillo which wasn’t too bad, my dads tacos were alright but since he also ordered some cebollitas, the waitress forgot about it and didn’t give it to us until he was bites away from finishing his tacos. We kept trying to get her attention but was unsuccessful and focused on the other tables of guys except my family and the other family there. My food was the worst of all, I ordered a chimichanga de bistec and it was mostly just tortilla and barely any meat, didn’t even taste like bistec, more like bbq chicken. My sisters chicken and fries were super dry and almost burnt. Coming from a 100% Mexican, I can say this is the worst experience I’ve had with little to no flavor food. And once I brought it up to the attention of the waitress of our experience, all she said “oh really haha” in Spanish. No apology or anything. I usually don’t like to say anything bad about a restaurant but I wanted to warn others. Not worth the money spent here AT ALL!!

A hidden gem! A great place to order authentic Mexican food. It’s the kind of food my grandmother used to prepare. The food is reasonably priced and plates have generous portions. Don’t be afraid of the neighborhood it’s located in. It has lots of character & friendly faces.

Don’t let the run down Google pic fool you. This is a great little spot. Went with my bf and once I got to the area I was a little skeptical in going in. Luckily, the actual restaurant is a quaint little place. Because of the area, we got free parking as well. Clean dinning room with great music. BYOB and complete home made dishes! We could hear them chopping our food in the back right after we placed our orders! I had a very interesting dish with cactus in it. It was yum! Will go back but won’t dress up this time. =)

This place looks glorious among the “ghetto” like neighborhood it’s in. It actually has 2 parts to it. One entrance leads to a takeout counter, the other to the restaurant. Wait staff didn’t speak good English but friendly. Great food. 5 tacos comes standard with about 8 different types of meat to choose from all for under $9. They have a jukebox which BLASTS music so I was jamming to Drake and mowing tacos. It was awesome.
