The food was excellent. The guacamole was the best we’ve EVER tasted. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The service was great despite the fact there was only one server for at least 8 tables. We WILL be back!

Overall pretty good experience. Chips and salsa were solid – even came with 4 different salsas to try! Green one was my favorite. We had several different drinks and all were very good, giant cantaritos ($14.99) and micheladas ($7.99) and decent food. Server was very attentive as well.

Mexcal Mexican grill is located in a strip mall right off of Wolf Road. The dining area is pretty spacious, with slot machines to win tonight’s dinner (I’m kidding) and seating area on the other side. Seating area consisted of tables and chairs (no booths) and a bar area with overhanging tv. There’s a jukebox near the end, where the hallway to the bathrooms are. The semi-open kitchen divides the two parts.

The food was pretty good and the margaritas were sweet but good as well. I would definitely go back if I lived in the area but the name has changed I believe. Friendly service

The service was good and the waiter was friendly. Their large Michelada was worth it! The surf-n-turf taco dinner is phenomenal! Great sauce and very delicious. The Mescal taco dinner is worth a try too. The restaurant is spacious enough for a casual lunch and it’s Covid-19 friendly too.

Just moved to the neighborhood from the South suburbs where in my experience there’s a “GOOD” Mexican food desert. Ela Alamo was a welcomed change of pace. I ordered a steak taco dinner, chips and salsa and I was thoroughly impressed. You can tell the steak is marinated and seasoned well. Also the salsas (red and green) are really good. I’m usually not a fan of oil based salsa but the ingredients in their salsa is fresh and of quality. The green salsa has an amazing kick and is packed with flavor. The staff is great, they’re attentive and will work with you on modifications if they can. All in all it’s a great place. Low key location in a strip mall type area but it’s definitely worth a shot. I did both dine in and carry out in one week.

We waited about half an hour for a simple burritos which were even not warm enough and in one was a 2 inches sharp bone! They charged $3.50 for just a coke! Goofy service! Should be no star at all! What makes it EXTREME- I just checked my credit card activities; they trying to double charge it !!! = D I S A S T E R !

Decent place, a little pricey for what it is. I pre-judge a place on the chips and salsa they put out. The chips were not fresh and possibly came out of a bag. The two salsa’s were watery and unremarkable. The service was very attentive. Our entrees we’re pretty good. The corn tortillas were freshly made. The refried beans tasted like they were straight out of a can. A solid meal though. I’ve been here before and they absolutely nailed it. This visit was on a slow Monday night and it’s possible their better cooks were taking the night off.
