Cracker Barrel is the place to go for good, homestyle cooking at a cheap price. I ordered the southern fried chicken, which came with four pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, two biscuits, and two corn muffins. Everything tasted very good and left me satisfied. All this delicious food cost only $11.99. Try getting a good quality meal anywhere else for that price in Williamsburg. The staff and service were also excellent and there’s a great southern atmosphere overall. I’d definitely recommend going to this Cracker Barrell for a delicious meal at a very reasonable price.

For the price it is hard to beat a Cracker Barrel. The chicken breast was tender and juicy.

Vegetable plate was so good and came served on fancy blue dishes. Our server Kimberly was so friendly and helpful. The store has such a fun selection of things for sale.

We went around 8:30 on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. Our waitress was very nice, and got our drinks and our orders very quickly. Then we had to wait over 25 minutes for the food. And the girl who brought the food had no idea who got what. We had to remember what the menu said a half hour before. Then we had to ask for the gravy for the biscuits. The food was good, as always, and the staff was friendly.

Never been to a Cracker Barrel before. It was close to our hotel so we decided to give it a try on a Tuesday night between Christmas and New Years. Placed a dinner order for family of 5. App said food would be ready at 8:30PM. Showed up 8:35. Food wasn’t ready until 9PM. It didn’t look particularly busy. There was no one in line half the time we were there waiting for our order. Hostest was nice and gave us free piece of cake to make up for it. Got into parking lot to check food order and noticed not 1 but 2 of our entrees were missing. The other hostess saw us walking back towards the restaurant and met us at the door to see what was wrong. We showed her the bags and explained the missing items. They got us the missing entrees ASAP but it was still another 10 mins of waiting. They gave us a extra large serving of our chicken and dumplings on order to make up for it. I took pictures of everything we ordered for this review.

Love Cracker Barrel!!! Great great food. I love the experience of the down home cooking about old country items to purchase. A huge Con is that they do not keep up with the cleanliness of those authentic hangings on the wall that creates that old country feel.

One of the worst experiences at cracker barrel thus far, I always visit them on vacation because I love the southern home town cooking and the biscuits! Well the biscuits would have been better used to throw at the wall then try to eat they were so hard and when I asked for different ones the waitress told us they are all like that and she wasn’t bringing anymore. Our waitress was NOT trained one bit and she was quite terrible, after having a conversation with her she was from Turkey and arrived 2 months ago and they didn’t train her and just threw her on the floor….sounds about right! Food was just plain terrible and was a waste of money, we did get one meal taken off because it was so horrible. Stay away from this location for awhile if you can, we will not be returning when we visit next year!!

Always a pleasure to visit cracker barrel, the food was delicious and sausage gravy with the biscuits. Then after visiting the store for a few goodies. The decor is pleasant as well, lots to see and remember with the antique signs.

By far the best cracker barrel in the area. The food portions are great. No tiny bowls of sides. The carrots side dish was well portioned. Not like 5 carrots like so many other cracker barrel’s. The side salad was worth the $1.99! So big and fresh. Very happy with the service, our waitress Jess was on top of things.
