Unique, delicious ingredients in comparison to nearby Chipotle. The mango salsa and plantains are great. I even like the roasted vegetables. Some meats are really good. My favorites are the chorizo, pork al pastor, and shrimp (the steak is not as flavorful). The yellow rice is very rich and tasty. Guacamole and queso are included in the price. I usually get a bowl and don’t regret it.

First time eating here. It was fantastic. I got the steak chicken and shrimp bowl with rice and other toppings. Came with 3 tortilla shells. I thought I would need more shells. Ha I was full. With plenty to take home. Would definitely recommend.

I used to love jefe but don’t order here!!! They will allow you to order but will not be open. Whether it’s during college prime hours or summer time they do not have any respect. The orders mean nothing to them and they are there for money and that’s it. They are so rude and don’t respect anyone who goes. Closing time on their website is “4am” but I have tried ordering at midnight and have been rudely approached. There’s a better places than here. Good luck.

First time here and it did not disappoint! Got the set of 3 tacos that included Al Pastor, Carnitas and chorizo. I personally liked the Chorizo the best, but all were delicious. You could taste the freshness of all the ingredients, especially the tortillas. Can’t wait to come back and try out the rest of the menu.

I had my doubts when I walked in, as there was a slow moving line and the staff didn’t seem to care much. But when it was my turn, they made me a pretty damn good juevos rancheros and they were not stingy with anything. I’d go back.
