I’ve been going here for years. The man that runs this place obviously works very hard. The roast beef ( most of the time ) is great but I’ve noticed it’s been dry lately. If you don’t get sauce it’s so dry.

Moved to Watertown recently, and having this place across the street might be my favorite thing about it. This roast beef sandwich is hands down the best I’ve ever had. I was initially put off by the aging sign out front, but don’t be – everything is incredible, and the owner is a great guy. Don’t forget to tip!

I worked in Watertown Square back in the late 90’s and frequently ate here. Just rediscovered it. Owner is great. Food is terrific. Love the Taco and Roast beef. Only place around that serves Northshore style

Service was very nice. Now, about the quality of what I purchased. It was ok to be nice, very, heavily oiled, so greasy, kinda look like onion rings from the 70’s. Fish sandwich under so so on a point scale. I didn’t know shredded lettuce is still available. point is……grocery store and cook for myself next time.
