What an AWESOME experience we just had at Darrell’s Dog Gone Good Diner #11! We were just passing through the area and decided to stop for brunch. With only 2 servers in the building, we were sat fairly quickly, she brought us our menus and drinks quickly too even though I told her to take her time. I could see they were busy and it was only the two of them.

We stopped at Darrell’s after a visit to Silver Springs State Park. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak omelet and a Denver omelet. The food was delicious and plenty of it. Our server was Angie and she was outstanding! So friendly and made sure we had everything we wanted. She couldn’t have been better!

My breakfast sandwich came with bacon or sausage. I asked for bacon to be on the side of the plate rather than in the sandwich. Was told that’s considered sharing and not allowed! That is my bacon that I paid for and they do not have a right to deny me that! It is stealing from me and not customer oriented. Will never return!

Went for a drive to Silver Springs museum. While there I looked for a place to eat. See Darrell’s, checked reviews online and decided to stop. What a great little place. Had the mushroom swiss burger with onion rings and it was really really good. They use fresh shrooms not the canned ones like everyone else. Wife had a turkey and bacon wrap and said it was very good. My server Taffy was very pleasant and provided great service. The cook even asked how everything was on the way out! I told him I was going to leave review and he wanted to make sure I knew this was location #11. Lol. Will definitely be back. Sorry no pics was too hungry and forgot.

Were in the area at silver springs state park and stopped for lunch. Food, service, and atmosphere were all very good. Glad we stopped! We are from out of state, so are not familiar with Darrell’s but would recommend.
