I love golden corral buffet. But have found food to be a little less fresh and not everything filled rapidly they seem a little under staffed. Still overal my favorite place to eat. But at lunch time hours or senior lunch time when the price is more reasonable.

This Golden Coral in Cedar City, Utah is the best I’ve been in. The place sparkled with cleanliness! The servers were friendly, helpful, and “Johnny on the spot” when we needed them! And the FOOD… the layout was pleasant to the eye, the variety was outstanding, and the food was fresh, appealing to the eye, and delicious to the taste! if they tell you a if they tell you it’s a 5-minute wait and to come back, do not leave just stay in line or else you will not get the cooked food. You know when some one verbally says “I’m not meaning to give you a hard time” …they are giving you a hard time. I came for steak and have to keep waiting and waiting and waiting. They say to come back but they have no steak held up for me to come back to. Cook more steak , it’s simple. like why am I paying the premium 18 dollar price if all they have left is cheap lunch food. I came for steak and ended up waiting an hour to get one sliver of uncooked meat. very disappointed. Cooks are new, don’t know how to keep meat held up and to give proper time estimates for next servings. It wouldn’t have upset me but the cook got lippy. Don’t get offended I want to get a steak. “I don’t cook to order” uhh okay bro I’m still going to stand here and wait for a steak despite your rude comment. His theory was because people are willing to take rare steak, the people who want medium or well done just have to suffer? Rookie cook mistake, other golden corals have steak of every cook ready to rock. Not my fault your short. Get it together stop blaming the customer and expecting us to kiss your a**.

Severely over priced for under quality foods. The waiter was awesome the only reason I gave it 2 stars. Literally paid over $100 for my family to eat beef jerky and some gross mac and cheese. The waiter was attentive and honest bc he knows the food sucks too.

For the price, I can pick the ones I like to eat. Fried chicken, soup, bread and desserts. @ Dinner their roasts and steak are spot on! Service was awesome both times we were there.

All you can eat, food options at good, not great. My kids enjoyed the gobs of dessert. I should have allowed them to cook the steak a little more, but didn’t want to wait, otherwise it was a simple sirloin. The place was taken care of from what I could see, and the server we had was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our time, but my wife and I would have preferred to eat somewhere else at the time.

Server was missing in action for the first 15 min of our visit I had to go find some one to get our drinks, than that person server visited with the table next to us and wasn’t very attentive, I was given cold steak and a rib chunk that was tough not juicy or” BBQ saucey,” the mgr who I think was in blue with blonde hair was distracting the grill house fella playing with his phone looking at texts or emails. Place was cleaned grill house had lil fresh steaks and no one attending it till the last 10 min of our visit but we left…so sad

I would totally give this place a 5 stars if it wasn’t because they always have people waiting for steak. That is in every location. I mean, why is it so hard to cook more meat knowing that it is a buffet and people are getting food at all times? On that note, the cook took the time to go to our table to bring us meat and that was a plus. Cashier was a really nice young latina. And our server was also very nice.
