This restaurant is incredible! Great service and amazing food. Wegmans never disappoints. We had the Cheese & Charcuterie and the Bianca pizza as appetizers. Both excellent. As entrées, we ordered the Bolognese and Ziti with Shrimp pasta. Our friend had the Crab & Asparagus Risotto. I tried all dishes and I can’t decide which one is better.

For such a small place stuck to the side of East Ave Wegmans, this place is great! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the good is absolutely delicious. It’s also more affordable than I was expecting! The only downside is that it seemed our waiter was a bit overloaded, so it would be good if they balanced things out better. Overall a great experience though!

Honestly, it’s a 3.25 but that’s not an option so I went with a 3. I’ll start with the food. The oysters were very tasty – 5/5 on those. The salad was good but not spectacular if a bit overpriced, so I’ll go with a 3.5. The bread was the garlic Tuscan bread, which everyone knows is delightful. I’d read in reviews before going that the bread is super good, so I was confused when we weren’t offered any. I had to ask and then they gave us…2 super thin slices cut in half. It was weird. Garlic Tuscan bread – 5/5 always. The serving of it and needing to ask to even get that? 1/5. The pizza was fine. It tasted exactly the same as the customizable pizzas that you can get at the to-go area of Wegmans. The up-charge in the restaurant wasn’t worth it. We expected something at least a little better than they sell at the pizza counter. 2.5/5. The mushroom pasta with cream sauce was delicious! 5/5. If there was a reason I’d go back, it’s this dish.

Just went in and tried to use a gift card. We had called the number on the card prior to ordering and they confirmed that we had a $50 balance. Once we arrived to pick up the food, the manager informed us that the gift card was expired, and we needed a blue card instead of the one we had. There was no expiration date on the gift card we had. Very deceptive practices – will not be coming back. Food was good.

Ordered a seafood dish, previously ordered this many times. And was very pleased last time I ordered it there was very little seafood the tomato paste sauce was too thick. and it came with one piece of crust and bread. For over $30 for just this entrée I was expecting more. I ordered the arugula sandwich and asked for pepper. Never got it. Had to get up and go to the counter and get it myself. When the entrée arrived, I asked for a little hot pepper and some Parmesan cheese, had to ask her again, and when she brought it, acting like she didn’t know who asked for it. She put it at the other end of the table of our party.

I called for reservations 3 weeks ago for 5pm. When the day came I was informed my reservation was canceled. I or my party did not call to cancel. I was calmly very upset. Out of the goodness of their hearts the maitre d’ stated we can have a table as long as we promise to be finished by 7pm. Not happy I had a time limit when it was their mistake. After we were done rushing, staff stated not to worry about leaving since someone else canceled. Soon after the maitre d’ asked us to leave. Sat in vestibule to plan our next get together, noticed no one sitting at our table. Food was great but over priced. Promised two pieces of meat for the appetizer but was given one. The waitress was the best part of the restaurant. She deserved the tip.

Another stellar example of why Wegmans is head and shoulders above their competitors. Amore is a beautiful restaurant serving delicious house made pastas and pizzas. We tried the mushroom and truffle pizza, pasta, and salads. Everything was fresh and flavorful.

Went here a couple of times and both the service and the food quality were top notch! Got the salad and some pasta the first time and an appetizer and dessert the second time. Enjoyed very much- need to try the pizza next.
