I love finding the “local” spots to eat and this place didn’t let me down. I had the roast beef lunch special (check out the picture) and it was amazing. Lunch plate with drink for around 10 bucks was a huge value. The staff and owners were extremely pleasant and greeted every customer like they’d been there 100 times.

We had a great experience for lots of reasons! We enjoyed a pleasurable afternoon drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and decided to stop for barbeque on the way home. We asked if we could feed a family of 6 for $20. We ordered a BBQ plate for the kids, and Cindy piled the food on for us. She gave us way more than regular servings! She was so generous to us! Then someone (I don’t know who) paid our tab for us without our knowing it! Cindy told us to enjoy bottomless fountain drinks and all six of us got a bowl of ice cream! And it didn’t cost us a dime (yes, we paid it forward)! The food was really tasty, there was a fine selection of appetizing sides, and my wife and I were able to split a baby rack of ribs and three sides. Nobody left hungry, and the staff were all very attentive to us, asking multiple times if we needed anything. I don’t expect everyone who visits the Circle B Ranch BBQ will have the same great experience we did, but I guarantee that when we drive through the area we have a very high likelihood of returning. Thanks, Cindy, and the kind person who paid for our meal, and the rest of the great staff for giving me and my family a dining experience we won’t forget!

This was a delightful surprise! I flew into the Ashville airport and was looking for dinner closeby. The best roast beef that I have had in years. Others were raving about the fried chicken-takes 20-30 minutes cuz they make it fresh to order. Mac and cheese was outstanding. Green beens a little sweet. And complimentary soft serve iced cream. Staff was a bit diorganized and slow as molasses, but this added to the charm. Friendly as can be.

On the side of a gas station. Reminds me of a small town Cafe, not fancy. Not a tourist place, more of a working man’s place. Homestyle cooking would be a good description of the food. Lots of food for the money. Family run, nice people.

Goodness. Best fried chicken I ever ate. Everything is good. Tender brisket and awesome potato salad. Its a no frills local joint that pumps out some of the best dam chicken in town. Nothing was boiled as one other reviewer said and if getting a big portion is a complaint than ill complain away. Call ahead for the chicken and be patient, its well worth every minute.

VERY very tasty food!!! The nicest owners I’ve ever met. My husband and I are here on business and decided to try something new. We are definitely happy with this choice. Good food at a good price. BBQ is chopped, not pulled, so BBQ snobs beware but still very good (in this non-snobs opinion). Sides are excellent and the sauce is very good. Be prepared to wait if you’re after chicken – it’s fried up to order and well worth the wait!
