The food is good, I actually enjoyed it, it’s really not bad for being the only Ramen Joint in Town. The ambiance is nice, if anything it could be colder inside especially when it’s summer and people are trying to get a hot broth fix and remain comfortable. Now to why this is a 2 star rating. I went in recently with my wife, we checked in with the host and he notified it would be a moment while they cleaned a table off for us. We sat off to side and waited patiently. While sitting there some others walked in looking for a table, an employee walked up to them and excitedly greeted them as if he new them. They were sat immediately while we were ignored we waited an additional 5 minutes before walking out. It sucks that this is the only Ramen place in town and I’m sad to say I will not be returning. I’ll happily drive an hour away to get my Ramen fix than give this place my business again.

I’ve been here twice, and the ramen has been consistently excellent! The staff was friendly the first visit but not incredibly warm the second time around. Our chicken karaage was overcooked to the point of it being inedible, but the hostess was kind enough to bring a new order which was tender and light. I would still recommend that dish, as it is one of my favorite appetizers to order at restaurants! I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

We both ordered the Tanaka classic ramen except my husband got the level 2 spice which he said was an accurate level for the spiciness. We both were astonished at how incredible the noodles were. They are thicker than most we have tried and chewy and have the best flavor. We both agreed the noodles were the best we’ve had so far. We will come back just for them! We loved the variety of broth choices and are excited to try more next time.

My son and I stopped in for lunch. It was our first time visiting. He had been wanting to try a noodle place and we were both so happy with our decision to try out Tanaka. I got the Wonton Ramen and he got the Beef Sukiyaki. We highly recommend this spot 10/10

The food was delicious with lots of options. We had build your own ramen. The #2 spicy is pretty hot! vegetables were fresh and the tofu was perfect! The gyoza was delicious. Only reason for 4 stars was the wait staff forgot our gyoza order even after they repeated it back. Then while we were still eating they asked if we were done. We had for in our hand with a bite?? It wasn’t busy so didn’t need to make room for someone else.

The weather has been perfect for ramen and that’s what we had for lunch today. It was a first visit here and we were definitely satisfied. For starters we ordered the Takoyaki-Octopus Balls and they were very delicious. My daughter had the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen. She loved the flavor of the veggie broth and kale noodles. I had the Tanaka Classic and I loved it. It was so tasty!
