Today was our first visit… authentic food and delicious. I ordered the cucumber/lemonade drink it tasted very refreshing, we also shopped the market inside and explored the cultural options. We purchased some produce, corn tortillas and pottery. I would recommend La Estrella and I do plan to return.

The BEST authentic tacos. This aint no TacoBell! This place is the REAL DEAL! Real home-cooked goodness! See for yourself! I’ve been here for over 7 years and the food is consistently GOOD and AFFORDABLE. Oan they also have the largest selection of Latin groceries & snacks for picking! You’ll Thank me later, I promise!

I’ve eaten here a few times, they make great tacos, my favs are chicharonnes, buche, and barbacoa. They also have pretty good Menudo. Best tacos outside of Oaxaca.

I love this place. There are a lot of Mexican options in Thibodaux, but this is hands down the best. It’s not very fast, so expect to wait a little bit for your food, but it’s so worth it. Small street tacos every time.
