We love Hilltop. It’s our local brunch spot, and Mimi makes our experience just that much better. The service is great, the food is great, and we just love coming here! This was the first restaurant that we’ve ever visited in Willington! It definitely seemed like this was a popular local spot. We sat in the modern bar area, and it seemed like people enjoyed visiting to watch the game. We started off with a pineapple cocktail that was very strong – it definitely needed some more pineapple juice, and there was lemon mixed in which gave it kind of an odd flavor as well. For appetizers, we shared the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and the hot lips (boneless Buffalo chicken), which were both very good! I chose the chicken francaise, which was pretty good, but it was a bit watery at the bottom and I did have some bites that were colder in temperature than others. My fiancé had the Bleu cheeseburger, which he liked, but was cooked a little bit more than he would’ve preferred, and the burger and fries were pretty greasy. The servers were all attentive and friendly. I would be curious to try their breakfast, and I think this is a good spot for college students nearby to know about!

I held my daughters graduation party here and it was perfect! My party was not huge (21 people) but we were treated as if we were a large event. I worked with Conor during the planning process and he made it very easy for me, answered all my questions and made it a stress free event. We had Evan and Nikki as servers for the party and they were very accommodating. Everyone was well taken care of. The venue itself could not have been better. Perfect setup! I would not hesitate to hold another event at Hilltop.

The food is always excellent but the wait staff is always slow. I’ve been here 3 times now, the first time alone for a drinks and mussels, I finished my drink and ordered another and she never made it so I decided to just ask for my check. The second time, the service was pretty good seeing it was a busy Friday night. Then today, my son and I went for lunch and asked for salt which I never received, had to ask my server to refill my sons soda since she didn’t come check on us, and had wait 10-15 min for boxes, because she never came out.

I rented the banquet room for my fiancés 40th birthday. I want to start with saying Conor is the best. He helped me every step of the way, gave me his personal cellphone number so I could text him with any questions I had…and I had questions, lots of them. The day of the party I was so nervous and wanted everything to go perfect, and it ended up being just that…perfect. The staff that took care of us was amazing. All of the party guests were taken care of, the food was amazing, and everyone enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend their restaurant to everyone, but also the banquet room for any party, or get together.
